Velata's Little Black Dress

As a Chocoholic, I am all for finding news ways to enjoy my addiction.  When the Scentsy Family introduced their new line of Velata Chocolate Fondue Products, I was in heaven!

Velata offers so many wonderful choices in warmers, lots of diffferent colors and styles.  The first one I bought was the Maraschino Curve.  Its a fun and square at the same time.

The next warmer I bought was the Blue Razz Pedestal.  I thought this would be a fun contrast from the cherry one and also to show the different styles.  When Jakes and I have our own dipping parties, this is the one we unpack.

But there has been one sleak and sexy warmer that has had my eye from the very first time I perused the catalog.  Its from the Individual Collection and is the Noir.

Look at the hour glass figure of this warmer. Its so elegant and classic.  It goes with any decor and will dress up any party.  I have ordered this twice for myself and both times I've displayed it, it has sold!  Just as every woman should have her own favorite Little Black Dress, I think every home entertainer should have the Noir for every occasion.

Check out my website https://amylk103.velata.us/Velata/Home to order your very own Noir and don't forget to order lots of CHOCOLATE to go with it!

He's A Popsicle! and other fragmented thoughts....

AZ has been back for about a week now.  He's all settled in the house.  We're both getting used to sharing space with another person.  Poor thing has been cold for a week!  He was complaining this morning about how cold it is.  I think it was in the high 40's which for this time of year is not cold.  I've been teasing him about being a Popsicle.  Before I left for work this morning, I made sure I tucked an extra blanket around him.

Work is picking up a little bit.  I have several applications to write and lots of boring reading to do.  Actually, what some may consider boring.  I've been fascinated by the stats I'm reading.  The scary stats!  It always amazes me the number of people who are involved in drugs and alcohol abuse.  And I work in the field so you would think I wouldn't be shocked, but I am!

The Parents are planning a trip in the camper.  They are going to head to Harper's Ferry for a long weekend.  I hope they have lots of fun and don't get into too much trouble.  They are going to travel and camp with  friends who are experienced RV-ers so I won't worry too much.

My Scentsy business is starting to pick up.  I've had some good sales at work and have gotten a couple of parties booked.  I'm also planning lots of open house parties at my house to introduce the new products!  I'm excited to make this work!

My plans for the weekend are to get Jakes, clean the bathroom and relax.  I might wash my car now that AZ is safely here and I don't have to worry about creating storms that could endanger him!  Oh and get my flower beds ready for flowers!

Tuesday Thoughts

So much stuff going on.  Little stuff.  But stuff all the same.

My first order as a Scentsy Consultant should be delivered today!  I will get to label, sort and deliver to all my special customers.  So excited to spread happy smells!  Also this is your last chance to order for 10% off all products! If there is a Fall/Winter scent you love, now's the time to stock up!  As of March 1st, the Fall/Winter scents will be put away to make room for Spring/Summer!  Stop by my Website to place your orders.  Tomorrow I'll update my side bar with the new Scent and Warmer of the Month.  You'll Love Them!

Jakes and I had an ok weekend.  He did riding lessons on Saturday, then parked his butt on my couch with my iPad and the TV for the rest of the weekend.  I suggested that he go outside and ride his bike or scooter and he wanted to have a lazy day.  humph.  I wanted my couch and my iPad.  Brat.

I have several major grant applications to work on right now.  What fun!  At least its something to make the day go faster.

AZ is finishing up his packing and should hit the road tomorrow!  He's excited and ready to come home.  I'm excited for him to come home too.  He's been so miserable out there.  Hopefully, coming back will be better for him all around.

Neicy and I are on week 4 of the running program.  Yes, I'm still keeping up with it.  And yesterday, after I ran for 5 minutes TWICE, I was so proud of myself!  I did it!  We'll run the same program for the rest of this week, then the running time gets upped.  I'm kinda dreading it.  But once I get out there, chatting with Neicy, its not too bad.

This weather has been so nice!  I'm almost afraid that we will suffer for the wonderful weather this summer.  I know that when Neicy and I are running, there are swarms of mosquitos already.

I have some good books on hold at the library.  Actually, I'm on the waiting list for some really good books.  For 4 of them, I am the next in line to borrow them.  I have a feeling that all 4 are going to be available at almost the same time.  There will be lots of reading going on in my house!  Can't wait!

Tonight is singing night!  I missed last week to go to dinner with Neicy to celebrate her birthday.  It was a nice evening and a good reason to miss singing.  Our spring concert is the first weekend in May.  doom-a-loom-a, doom-a-loom-a over and over..............
