Yesterday was a wonderful day. Son and I went on a nature walk in the morning and completely enjoyed ourselves! He had gone to this nature preserve last week with a school field trip and wanted to share his knowledge with me. We took a net to catch grass shrimp and I took my camera. I also took my phone but it was useless WAY out there.
We started the walk out with Butterflies. I have a special place in my heart for butterflies.
We are close to this. No, we don't glow but our cancer and austim rates are almost the highest in my state.
This is a tributary that leads to the River.
Just MILES and MILES of marsh.
But isn't that sky just brilliant?

This was on the way back. Son was leading me home. Thanks, Son!
After communing with nature, we visited with a friend and I made dinner for my family. Over all, a pretty nice Sunday!
How was yours?
No close ups of mosquitos? Lol
