You take one of these:
Give it some love and food for a few days.
Put it in a bowl, separate out some starters for friends, mix with love
Add some of this stuff:
Yes, I shop at Acme!
Bake for a while
And you get THIS heavenly creation!

ReplyDeleteI made sour dough once, it was awesome. It was a pain however and i have found it is much easier to go to the bakery and pick some up. My house doesn't smell as good however.
ReplyDeleteI have forgotten about this! I had neighbors when I was a kid who were/are Quakers. They occasionally shared bread starters like this with us. I haven't thought about that in years!
