Son and I spend most of yesterday in the house doing some of our favorite things! Me baking, reading and playing Solitaire on the computer. Son putting together Legos.
Lego's #1
Lego's #2
Cinnabons for the Dig Out Party we had today.
Here is some of the devastation from the snow:
Mr. Len LOVES the snow blower!
Son taking a Snow Break.
King of the World .... er snow mountain!
We ended the day with this BEAUTIFUL sunset. Amazing that we could have a blizzard and it would blow itself out just in time for this:
The Polar Bear Plunge was postponed until March 14th. Hopefully, we won't be subjected to a spring snow storm!
Be safe digging out. I'm going to take a nap. ;) Then go and dig out some more. See you in the spring thaw!
I thought about you when I heard the plunge was postponed. Wow! You do have a lot of snow. We only got nine inches. And it looks like your snow blowing is much better than ours.
ReplyDeleteYour son is very talented with those lego's,tell him that is a great job! You have me hungry now,I love those things. I hope your dug out from the snow soon. Try to stay warm and cozy until then. That is one beautiful sunset,I just love seeing photo's.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is some snow that you have there! I can remember walking along the tops of telegraph poles, the snow had been that deep! Then there were nothing in the shops because groceries couldn't be delivered! We've had it pretty bad this year, but I have seen worse.
ReplyDeleteIt just seems that the whole country grounds to a stop because of 2 inches of snow here!
wow. you goes got whalopped! we only got 10 inches here...been digging so it better be an interesting game tonight or i may need a nap. love the legos!
ReplyDeleteI came across your site by accident and I just loved your blog.
ReplyDeleteYou do have a lot of snow there!
Great pics!
Son did a great job with the Lego's and you took great pictures including my faborite which is the Sunset of course. I tried to copy that but it didn't work so I hope you sent it to me, but if not please try to send it one day this week.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad I don't live back there but the pictures make it look so beautiful. I am happy to be living in AZ where we didn't have to dig out of that horrible snowstorm. Yuk!
I saw that on the news last night. I think you Americans are so lucky to be experiencing things like that -- here in my country, the only things we get are bushfires and floods. Boring!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend in Pittsburg whose city looks exactly the same way right now!
ReplyDeleteDont look now! but we are getting another 8 -10 inches on Wednesday. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteMmm I want some of those cinnamon buns down. They look amazing.
